What is your favorite sports moment at K?
When Coach Mattice told me to get my butt down while doing push ups and Katie George responded to her saying, "Coach, that's just her butt."

Why did you choose to attend Kalamazoo College?
I chose to attend K because of the challenging academics.

What do you enjoy most about road trips during your season?
Getting to spend time with teammates and relax or work on homework between class and arrival.

What is your least favorite thing about road trips during your season?
The tension and stiffness in my body.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
My father because he was and still is a passionate multi-sport athlete. My teachers and coaches in high school used to tell me stories about attending his games and being inspired by him so I really looked up to him. He is also passionate about inspiring athletes to be the best they can be on and off the field or court.

What is your favorite class and why?
Cellular and Molecular Biology or Learning because both were really interesting which made class enjoyable.

Other than the sport you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
Basketball and I also just started playing tennis and golf and surprisingly am not too bad.

Is there another game in which you dominate? (card games, lawn games, pool, darts, etc.)
Texas hold'em.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
Reading, learning, and talking.

What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
Ice cream.

Who is your role model?
Both of my grandmas.

What do you enjoy most about practice?
The opportunity to work hard and get dirty playing the sports you love with others who share your passion.

What do you like least about practice?
The sticky hot gym and endlessly wet floor during volleyball season and the inconsistent temperatures during softball/practicing in the gym.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
I am going to take a gap year and then go to medical school.
