What is your favorite sports moment at K?
Winning the MIAA Championship in 2016 and advancing to regionals.
Why did you choose to attend Kalamazoo College?
I knew that I wanted to go to a small liberal arts school where I could connect well with both other students and alumni. After visiting and seeing the athletic culture around campus, I knew K was the place for me.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
Chipper Jones because he was a relentless leader who played with passion and stayed loyal to the same team his entire career.
What is your favorite class and why?
Econometrics because it was a subject I have knowledge of prior and it was interesting to learn about how data is applied in the business world.
Who is your favorite professor and why?
Professor Apps because she works hard to apply each of her classes in a real world context and is always open and willing to help.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
Breakfast for dinner.
Who is your role model?
My dad.
What do you enjoy most about practice?
Scrimmaging, especially when Farnquist catches.
What do you like least about practice?
Sweeping the sheds.
What are your plans/goals after graduation?
I am hoping to obtain a position in either marketing research or data analytics immediately after graduating. Eventually, I plan on returning to school to get an MBA.
