What is your favorite sports moment at K?
My favorite sports moment at K was beating Alma my sophomore year for the first time. The entire game was back and forth, but Daria Lewis scored in the last 6 seconds of regulation time to give us the W.

What is your most memorable academic experience at K?
My most memorable academic experience at K was studying abroad in France at the Economics School.

Why did you choose to attend Kalamazoo College?
I chose to come to K for its academics, study abroad program, and athletic opportunities. I also felt at home on campus.

What do you enjoy most about road trips during your season?
My favorite part about road trips is the ride back because everyone is generally more loose and outgoing after playing a game.

What is your least favorite thing about road trips during your season?
My least favorite thing about road trips is definitely the ride there.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
An athlete I greatly respect is Muhammed Ali because he not only achieved greatness in the ring, but he also stood up for both his political and religious beliefs, even when they barred him from participating in his sport. That, to me, is a true measure of character.

What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class at K was Arts Entrepreneurship because it made me feel even more secure and determined to do what I love. We also learned about extremely practical life skills, which are rarely taught in classes.

Other than the sport you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
Other than lacrosse, I played goalie for a field hockey team and that was a pretty fun deal.

Is there another game in which you dominate? (card games, lawn games, pool, darts, etc.)
I dabble in euchre.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
My hobbies include drawing, painting, watching obscure movies, and long walks on the beach.

Who is your role model?
I don't necessarily have a single role model, rather I draw qualities from those around me which I wish to obtain. For instance, the tireless work ethic of my mom or the loyalty of my best friend.

What do you enjoy most about practice?
What I enjoy most about practice is being able to let go of other worries and just focus on my team.

What do you like least about practice?
What I enjoy least about practice is getting into an occasional rut where nothing seems to go right and of course, 300s.

What is the topic of your SIP?
A vocal recital and written literary analysis of lyrics, done in French.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to go back abroad to France for at least a year and teach English to K-12 students. After that, I hope to obtain a masters in either French studies or vocal performance. From there on, I hope to do something that brings a smile to my face every day.
