What is your favorite sports moment at K?
Making the MIAA tournament my freshman year!

What is your most memorable academic experience at K?
Being named to the MIAA academic honor roll this past season.

Why did you choose to attend Kalamazoo College?
I fell in love with the campus and basketball team immediately!

What do you enjoy most about road trips during your season?
Spending time with the team and singing on the bus.

What is your least favorite thing about road trips during your season?
Trying to do homework on the bus. There's no good way!

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
Derek Weida. He's an amputee veteran and never uses that as an excuse for not performing. I just think his story and how he goes through life is inspiring.

What is your favorite class and why?
I loved my Victorian America history class. It's the reason that I'm now a history major and writing my SIP on Victorian families.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Boyer Lewis because she has served as a mentor for me since I was a freshman and has really helped turn me into a confident student.

Other than the sport you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
I really enjoyed throwing shotput in high school!

Is there another game in which you dominate? (card games, lawn games, pool, darts, etc.)
Definitely go fish.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
I love to read! I carry a book with me at all times. 

What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
Corn flakes with peanut butter, nutella, and milk.

Who is your role model?
My mom for sure. She is the strongest, most caring woman in my life and I strive to be like her.

What do you enjoy most about practice?
Our huddles before practice starts. Somebody always has a funny story or says something weird before we actually start.

What do you like least about practice?
The warm up lap. It's a killer.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
Not sure! I'm hoping to move south and find a job working in a museum.
