Lynsey started in the athletic department at Kalamazoo College in June of 2015. She serves as an assistant athletic director for compliance, eligibility and student-athlete success. Lynsey also supervises athletic event workers, serves as an academic advisor and oversees intramural and club sports.

Prior to working at K, the Kalamazoo native (Comstock High School) worked in the athletic department at Kalamazoo Valley Community College assisting with the Cougars’ sports in the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association. Prior to her time at KVCC, Lynsey was a high school English teacher at Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham, N.C. where she also coached varsity volleyball. She also was the varsity head coach for the softball program at Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, N.C.

Lynsey earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education in 2008 from Central Michigan University where she also played softball for the Chippewas. She earned a master’s degree in sport management at Western Michigan University in 2018. Lynsey is also a 2018 inductee of the Comstock High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Lynsey and her husband, Mike, reside in Portage with their children, Payton and Addison.
