Grace Smith '17 was named assistant sports information director in August of 2017. A proud K alumna, Grace graduated with honors in 2017 with a degree in biology.

Grace was a four-year member and two-year captain of the women's basketball team as well as serving as a goalkeeper for the women's soccer team for three years. On the field, she was a part of the soccer program's first MIAA championship in 17 years. In addition, Grace was president of the Athletic Leadership Council for two years. She worked in a variety of roles for the athletic department during her time at K and is thrilled to be returning to Hornet athletics as part of the sports information department.

A native of Kalamazoo, Grace graduated from Hackett Catholic Central High School and resides in Kalamazoo with her family.
