Ryan Orr and Jack Clark, two members of the Kalamazoo College baseball team, have been named All-Stars for their respective summer collegiate league teams.
Ryan Orr '18, a pitcher for the Kenosa Kingfish, will play in his second consecutive Northwoods League All-Star game on Tuesday, July 19 at his home field in Kenosha, Wis.
Orr leads the Kingfish with three saves while appearing in 10 games, the second-highest total on the team. Orr has struck out 14 batters in 17.0 innings with just five walks and a 2.11 ERA.
Jack Clark '17, third baseman for the Irish Hills Leprechauns, will play in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League All-Star game on Tuesday, July 19 at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.
Clark leads the Leprechauns in nearly every offensive category with a .300 batting average in 37 games with seven doubles, three triples, one home run, 23 RBIs and 29 walks.
Orr and Clark both earned All-MIAA and All-Region honors this spring after leading Kalamazoo to a school-record 24 wins and an MIAA Tournament championship which led to the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA III Tournament.
