ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team dropped a pair of games on the road at league-leading Adrian, falling 18-3 in the first game and 5-2 in the second.

Game One

Adrian jumped out to a lead early in the first game, leading 8-2 after three innings before exploding for eight more runs in the fourth to put the game out of reach.

Jordan Wiley led K offensively going 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and a pair of stolen bases. Josh Reuter also hit a double and drove in a run in his one plate appearance.

Ryan Franklin took the loss on the mound for K.

Game Two

Adrian scored in the second, third, and twice in the fourth to lead 4-0 after four innings. After Zach Prystash led off the inning with a single, Stefan Leclerc brough the Hornets back into it with a two-run home in the bottom of the sixth.

Adrian tacked on a fifth run in the ninth inning and while Connor Grant doubled in the bottom of the ninth, Kalamazoo was unable to generate any further offense.

Leclerc drove in both of K's runs and Prystash was the team's other offensive leader, going 2-for-2 at the plate.

Jacob Gilhaus pitched six innings for K, giving up four runs, three of which were earned, on seven hits to take the loss.

The Hornets are scheduled to take on Ohio Northern at home tomorrow at 4:15 p.m. barring any inclement weather.
