VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Chase Coselman earned the starting spot at third base for the Virginia Beach Collegiate Baseball League's All-Star Team in the 2018 All-Star Game held July 3 at Virginia Wesleyan University.
Coselman singled, was hit-by-pitch, and scored a run in the VBCBL's 7-5 win over the Tidewater Collegiate Summer Baseball League's All-Star Team.
Coselman plays for the Sea Monsters who were 17-7 heading into the All-Star Game.
This spring as a freshman Coselman hit .366 for the Hornets with 49 hits including nine doubles and 26 RBIs. The Hornets finished 20-19 overall and in second place in the MIAA with a 17-11 league record.
