Baseball Falls to UW-Whitewater

AUBURNDALE, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost 14-4 to Wisconsin-Whitewater on Sunday.

The Warhawks, ranked No. 9 in the nation in one poll and No. 15 in two others, led 5-1 after two innings. Kalamazoo made it 5-2 in the third, but Whitewater added runs in the fourth and fifth to make it 9-2. Kalamazoo made it a 9-4 game in the seventh, but Whitewater ended the game with five runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Kalamazoo had seven hits in the game led by Noah Hecht who went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI.

Chase Coselman was 2-for-3 with a triple, run, and RBI.

Jordan Wiley singled and stole two bases.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Monday with a doubleheader against Williams College beginning at 11 a.m. in Auburndale, Fla.
