KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jack Brockhaus of the Kalamazoo College baseball team has been honored as the SAAC men's Hornet of the Week. 

Brockhaus, a junior from Birmingham, Mich. (Brother Rice) threw a complete game shutout on Sunday, May 2 in Kalamazoo's 11-0 win over Alma College. He allowed just four hits from the Scots and had four strikeouts. 

The pitcher now holds a 6-1 record with the second-most wins in the league. He leads the Hornets with 47 total innings pitched and 47 strikeouts. His 1.91 ERA is also the second-lowest in the MIAA. 

Kalamazoo is scheduled to host Hope in a non-conference single game on Tuesday, May 4 at 4 p.m.
