Baseball Defeats Adrian in Regular Season Finale

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team finished the regular season with an 11-4 win over Adrian College Sunday at Woodworth Field.

Kalamazoo led 2-0 after three innings, 6-1 after six, 9-2 after seven and 11-2 after eight. The Bulldogs scored two runs in the top of the ninth.

Kalamazoo had 13 hits compared to 10 by Adrian.

Doug Propson had three hits with two RBIs. Cooper Mills also had three hits.

Blake Bean finished with two hits and three RBIs. Spencer Baldwin also had two hits.

Adam Dorstewitz struck out five in four scoreless innings to earn the win. Nine Hornet pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts.

These two teams will meet again Wednesday in an MIAA Tournament game at Woodworth Field beginning at 4 p.m.
