Kalamazoo College's Adam Dorstewitz was named MIAA Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Dorstewitz, a senior from Kalamazoo, Mich. (Loy Norrix), earned two wins in two appearances as the Hornets went 4-1 last week to clinch second place in the MIAA.

Dorstewitz earned the win in two innings of relief in an 8-3 win over Alma on Wednesday, striking out two and walking one while allowing one hit and no runs. In an 11-4 win over Adrian on Sunday, Dorstewitz started and struck out five while walking one and allowing four hits in four scoreless innings.

Dorstewitz is 4-0 on the season with a 3.22 ERA, striking out 26 and walking 11 in 22.1 innings.

Kalamazoo finished the regular season 23-11 overall and in second place in the MIAA with a 15-6 league record. The Hornets host Adrian in an MIAA Tournament game on Wednesday, May 11 at 4 p.m.
