Roy Dangel, Jr. joined the Kalamazoo College football coaching staff during the summer of 2022. He coaches the running backs.

After serving as a scout for the past three seasons at Kalamazoo, Coach Dangel Jr. will now turn to the coaching side. He is also the Vice President of Business Development at Sturgis Bank & Trust. Coach Dangel Jr. is also very active in the community by volunteering as a board member for multiple non-profit organizations in the Kalamazoo area.

Dangel Jr. was a strong safety for Adrian College, graduating in 1988 with a degree in international business, an emphasis in finance, and a minor in French. He was also a national champion in the United States Football Touch League in 1992 and was a seven-on-seven touch football all-American.

He and his wife, Buffy, and their two sons, Rick and Chris, reside in Portage, Michigan.
