Title: Assistant Coach

Mike Doupe’ joined the Kalamazoo football staff in the summer of 2013 as an assistant coach. He will primarily work with wide receivers.

Doupe’ comes to Kalamazoo from Wayland Union High School where he has served as an assistant coach for the past seven years coordinating offense as well as coaching wide receivers and defensive backs. Before Wayland, Doupe’ served as an assistant football coach at Pinckney High School for three seasons.

Doupe’ graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in English education. In 2010, Doupe’ completed his master’s degree from MSU in curriculum and teaching.

In addition to football, Doupe’ coached baseball for five years at Wayland. He currently teaches English at Wayland.

Doupe’ is married to his wife Christine, and resides in Allegan. In his spare time, Doupe’ enjoys traveling, kayaking, and camping.
