Jason Hayes joined the Kalamazoo College football staff in 2014 and coaches the kickers, punters, and assists with linebackers.
Hayes came to Kalamazoo from Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he served as special teams coordinator, linebacker coach, and freshman strength coach from 2012 to 2013. Previously, Hayes was a student assistant coach at Western Michigan University from 2009 to 2012 where he worked with quarterbacks and wide receivers.
Hayes is a 2011 graduate of Western Michigan University where he majored in physical education with a minor in English secondary education. He earned a master's degree in sport studies and athletic administration at Southeastern Oklahoma State in 2014.
In addition to coaching, Hayes currently works as a substitute teacher at Kalamazoo area schools. He resides in Kalamazoo with his wife, Charlee.
