BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team fell to Bluffton University Wednesday evening, 68-54, as the Hornets continued their non-conference early-season schedule.

The Hornets jumped out to a quick 11-2 lead at the 16:16 mark of the first half, but the Beavers' defense gave the Hornets trouble the rest of the way as Kalamazoo ended the evening shooting 37 percent.

Bluffton rallied back to take a 39-27 halftime lead and outscored the Hornets 29-27 in the second half, ultimately taking the game.

Chase Baysdell and Josh Miller led the Hornets with 10 points apiece. Adam Dykema led Kalamazoo on the glass corralling six rebounds to go along with his seven points.

Bluffton's Austin Rhode led all scorers with 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting.
