KALAMAZOO, Mich. – On a day dedicated to the accomplishments of the six Kalamazoo College men's basketball seniors, the seniors put on a display they won't forget anytime soon.

The Hornets defeated the visiting Adrian College Bulldogs, 69-44, Saturday afternoon inside Anderson Athletic Center with the four active seniors combining to score 58 of the team's 69 points.

It was Josh Whitney and Chase Baysdell who led the charge from the field, each scoring a game-high 18 points while Josh Miller scored 17 points and came one rebound shy of a double-double. Jake Whitney fed his fellow seniors all afternoon, recording a career-high eight assists. He also added five points.

Starting the game with all four active seniors on the floor alongside freshman Tanney Blyly, the Hornets stormed out of the gates to a 12-4 lead at the 13:16 mark and never relinquished their lead throughout the game's entirety.

Leading 35-22 at the halftime break, the Hornets extended their lead to 25 points with 12:21 remaining and coasted to a victory of the same margin.

The Hornets' defense limited the Bulldogs all afternoon, holding them to 37.8 percent shooting from the floor. Justin Webster was the only Bulldog to score in double figures, dropping 13.
