KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's basketball won in dominant fashion on Senior Day, defeating Adrian 77-58 on Saturday afternoon.

Adrian scored first and led 3-0 in the opening seconds, but the Bulldogs would never lead again as the Hornets promptly went on a 28-3 run spurred by a pair of Charlie Carson three pointers and a two-handed dunk by senior Roger Hood. The Hornets shot above 65 percent from the field and from three point range during this 12 minute stretch while holding Adrian to below 30 percent shooting. Adrian did not hit double digits in scoring until there were five minutes remaining in the half and K went into the locker room at halftime leading 46-21.

The second half was more of the same as the Hornets continued to apply pressure on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. The half was highlighted by Ben Reiter's four point play as he converted on a three pointer from the wing while being fouled. The Hornets were never threatened, ballooning their lead to as many as 30 points, and finished the game shooting 49.1 percent from the floor while holding Adrian to 39.5 percent and also taking five charges at the defensive end.

Jimmy Paprocki was dominant in the paint to the tune of a game-high 17 points and nine rebounds. Fellow senior Roger Hood also scored 17 points while Ben Reiter added 12 points and 7 rebounds off of the bench.

Adrian was led by Jordan Harris who scored 13 points.

Kalamazoo wraps up the season with a record of 8-17 and 3-11 in MIAA play.
