KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team picked up its second win of the season Friday night as it defeated Manchester University 102-79.

Merritt Hamann scored the first basket of the game for Kalamazoo just over one minute in and the Hornets never looked back by keeping the lead for all 40 minutes.

The Hornet's lead stretched to as much as 28 points in the second half as they proved to keep up the fast pace they like to play even while leading.

Jeremiah Vincent led Kalamazoo in scoring for the second straight game as he connected on eight of his 12 shot attempts for 23 points. Vincent also grabbed a game-high seven rebounds.

Junior guard Tanner Blyly added 16 points, six rebounds and five assists for Kalamazoo. Tre Humes contributed 14 points.

Kalamazoo's bench scored 43 points in the win. Jarnard Smith, Ben Reiter, and Drew Sheckell all ended in double figures.

The Hornets return to action tomorrow, Nov. 17 as they host Anderson for a 3:00 p.m. tipoff.
