KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost its game against Centre College on Saturday afternoon, 76-56.

It was a back-and-forth game for much of the first half as there were six lead changes and four ties throughout.

The Hornets found themselves in a 13-point hole at halftime after shooting just 23.5 percent and were unable to overcome it. Kalamazoo improved to 13-33 in the second half (39.4%), but it was not enough as the Colonels tallied 41 points in the half.

Jarnard Smith led Kalamazoo with 16 points off the bench. Jeremiah Vincent tallied 10 points and six rebounds.

Kalamazoo will hit the road for the first time this season on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Bluffton. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
