KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team dropped its game with Chicago on Saturday afternoon by a score of 82-72.

Kalamazoo's slow start today was enough for Chicago to maintain the lead throughout as the Hornets shot just 21.6 percent from the field in the first half.

Chicago took a 38-23 lead into the break and never lost it as it kept the lead for the full 40 minutes.

Kalamazoo's 54.5 percent shooting in the second half brought it's total to 37.1 percent on the game. The Hornets were just six for 27 from beyond the arc.

Tanner Blyly led Kalamazoo with 15 points. Jarnard Smith added 14 points from off the bench.

Sophomore Bass Ollie added 10 points of his own.

The Hornets return to play on Monday, Dec. 3 when they host Benedictine at 7:30 p.m.
