Men's Basketball Falls to Olivet

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team was defeated 74-49 by Olivet on Wednesday evening. 

It was a back-and-forth first-half in tonight's contest which featured four lead changes and two ties and ended in a 36-26 Olivet lead at the break.

The Comets took control of the second half by outscoring the Hornets 38-23. 

Kalamazoo finished the game shooting 14-54 from the field. Olivet was 30-59 at game's end. 

Jeremiah Vincent led the Hornets offensively with 11 points and seven rebounds. 

Ben Reiter added 10 points for Kalamazoo. 

The Hornets return to action on Saturday, Jan. 12 when they travel to Albion. The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
