KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced Tuesday that Jordan Currie of the men's basketball team was honored as this week's Hornet of the Week. 

This is the first time Currie has received Hornet of the Week honors. 

The senior forward averaged 11 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games last week. On Wednesday against Albion, Currie scored a career-high eight points with eight rebounds. He followed up with a new career-high in Saturday's win against Alma, tallying 14 points with three rebounds and two assists. 

The Hornets return to the court on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Calvin.
