Ty Horky was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday for competition through Saturday, Feb. 13. It is his third selection this season.

A sophomore from Manchester, Mich. (Manchester HS), Horky averaged 20 points per game in three games last week, including a career-high 28 points in a win over Olivet.

On the season, Horky leads the Hornets in scoring with 13.1 points per game. He averages 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 37.9 percent from the field.

The Hornets are back in action at home against Trine on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
