BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished second at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Olivet at Bedford Valley on Tuesday.
Kalamazoo shot 296 as a team, just one stroke out of first place (Hope - 295). Just four strokes separated the top four teams as Trine came in third at 297 and Calvin fourth at 298.
Nick Ludka tied for second overall with a season-best 70.
Phil Ritchie followed with a 74 while David Smith and Travis Veenhuis both shot 76.
A schedule change puts Kalamazoo's next competition for Sept. 21 with an MIAA Jamboree hosted by Albion.
