Smith, Veenhuis win Trine Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. - Kalamazoo College's David Smith and Travis Veenhuis combined to shoot a 63 and win the Ken Venturi Invitational at Trine on Saturday.

Kalamazoo finished third as a team in this modified Ryder Cup scoring event. Each school had three pairs that turned in a score. Holes one to six were played as a scramble, holes seven to 12 better ball and holes 13 to 18 alternate shot.
