BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished third at the two day MIAA Fall Finish with a score of 613 (300-313). At the completion of the six fall rounds in the MIAA Kalamazoo also finished third overall, the program's best finish since 1993. By finishing in the top four Kalamazoo qualifies for the MIAA Spring Qualifier for the second straight year where the winner earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships.
Nick Ludka posted Kalamazoo's top score on Saturday, 74, with a two-day total of 153. David Smith posted a 77 on Saturday for a combined score of 150. Both players earned All-MIAA First Team honors.
Phil Ritchie had a two-day total of 155 and finished the fall with All-MIAA Second Team honors.
Travis Veenhuis posted the fourth best two day score at 157.
