Men's Golf ties for lowest score at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team tied for the lowest team score with Transylvania University as both teams shot a two-day score of 603 at the Rose-Hulman Invitational.

Kalamazoo shot 301 on Saturday and 302 on Sunday while Transylvania shot 302 on Saturday and 301 on Sunday.

Kalamazoo's Travis Veenhuis was tournament medalist posting a combined score of 146 (71-75) in the 15 team tournament.

David Smith tied for fifth with a 149 (73-76) while Phil Ritchie tied for 10th (79-72).

Nick Ludka shot 157 (78-79) to round out the Hornets' top four.

Kalamazoo returns to action on April 10 at The Moors when the Hornets host the Steven Tyler Intercollegiate.
