NORMAN, Okla. - Kalamazoo College's Phil Ritchie was named to the 2017 PING All-Great Lakes Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America last week.

A senior from Novi, Mich. (Detroit Catholic Central HS), Ritchie became the second player in school history to earn All-Region honors after shooting a school-record 74.1 average in 15 matches in 2016-17. Ritchie also tied a school record with a round of 70 this past season.

The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team finished third in the MIAA this past season, the program's best finish since 1983. The Hornets also qualified for the MIAA Spring Qualifying Tournament for the second year in a row.
