TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Travis Veenhuis and the Kalamazoo College men's golf team set new school records for the Hornets Friday on the first day of the Rose-Hulman Invitational and Hulman Links Golf Course.

Kalamazoo had the lowest team score on Friday while shooting a school-record best 283.

Travis Veenhuis shot a 5-under par 65 to set a new individual scoring record. 

Jackson Jones shot an even 70 which matched the previous Kalamazoo College record.

Nick Ludka finished with a 73 while Zach Colburn came in at 75.

The tournament is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
