BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished fifth at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament hosted by Olivet at Bedford Valley Friday and Saturday.
After shooting 306 on Friday, Kalamazoo shot 297 Saturday for a total of 603. The Hornets were six strokes out of fourth place and 29 strokes out of first.
Jackson Jones led Kalamazoo with a 71 on Saturday and a two-day total of 146 to tie for 13th overall.
Nick Ludka and Travis Veenhuis each shot 75 on Saturday while Parker Pickell came in at 76.
The Hornets return to action next weekend at the Battle of the Brook hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
