Jackson Jones was selected as the Kalamazoo College Athletic Leadership Council's men's Hornet of the Week for week two of the fall season.
Jones, a sophomore from Bloomfield Hills, shot a one-over, 73 in the first day of the "Battle at the Brook" in Sandusky, Ohio. He followed up his low score on Saturday with a 37 on day two in a weather shortened finish. His 110 (+3) for the week was good for a tie for fifth place overall. Jones led the Hornets to a third place finish as a team.
The men's golf team returns to action on Wednesday, September 12 at an MIAA Jamboree hosted by Olivet College. The match is scheduled to tee off at 1 p.m. at Bedford Valley Golf Club.
