Men's Golf Fifth at First MIAA Jamboree

WEST OLIVE, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished fifth at the season's first MIAA Jamboree, shooting 326 at Wuskowhan hosted by Hope.

The Hornets were eight strokes out of fourth place (Adrian) and trailed the leader (Hope) by 24 strokes.

Tyler Omness tied for 11th overall while leading the Hornets with a 77. Alec Rosenbaum tied for 18th with a 79.

MacKale McGuire shot 84, while Luke Rop was Kalamazoo's fourth scorer with an 86.

The Hornets are back in action Saturday, Oct. 1 at an MIAA Jamboree hosted by Alma.
