Comets down men's lacrosse

OLIVET, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team fell to Olivet College 19-3 Wednesday evening in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.

Doug Shipp got the Hornets on the board in the first half of play on an assist from Clapton Marquis.

Harrison Ramsey accounted for both of K's goals in the second half, the second of which was assisted by Jake Bonifacio.

Marquis led the Hornets with seven shots in the contest. Shipp ended with five shots. George Asher picked up the most ground balls, recording four.

The Hornets will continue a three-game road trip this Friday when they travel to Alma. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
