ALMA, Mich. – In the midst of a three-game road trip, the Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team fell to Alma College, 14-7, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action Friday evening.

Harrison Ramsey opened up the scoring for Kalamazoo in the first quarter of play off an assist from Brett Fitzgerald but four goals from Alma in the first quarter put the Hornets in a hole after the first 15 minutes of play.

The Scots outscored Kalamazoo 4-2 in the second quarter as the Hornet deficit grew to five by halftime.

Blake Beauchamp picked up the first goal of the second half but a 3-0 run from the Scots in the third quarter ultimately set the Hornets back too far.

Fitzgerald led the Hornet attack with a goal and an assist. Beauchamp also ended with two goals.

Hans Wieland, Jake Bonifacio and Ramsey each ended with a goal apiece.

The Hornets wrap up their road trip on Tuesday, April 25 when they travel to Adrian College for a 7 p.m. faceoff.
