Men's Lacrosse falls at Cornell College

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team lost 11-4 at Cornell College on Wednesday.

The host Rams led 4-0 after the first quarter and took a 6-1 lead into halftime. Kalamazoo trailed 9-2 after three quarters before eventually being defeated 11-4.

Brandon Wright led Kalamazoo with two goals on seven shots. 

Brett Fitzgerald and Jake Bonifacio each scored as well. Bonafacio and Hans Wieland were each credited with an assist.

Zach Morales led the Hornets with six ground balls while Joe Edwards won six face offs.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to return to action at home against Alma College on Saturday, April 7 at 7 p.m.
