KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A season of firsts for the Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse program continued Monday as junior Zach Morales was named to the All-MIAA Second Team, the first All-MIAA honoree in program history.

Morales, a long stick midfielder from Bainbridge Island, Wash., was one of K's most consistent players this season. He led his team by a wide margin with 62 groundballs and 20 caused turnovers, finishing in the top ten in the MIAA in both categories.

Morales also chipped in a goal and an assist in 12 games this year as he started every game for the third straight season.

Kalamazoo finished the season 3-9 overall and 3-4 in the MIAA, recording the first MIAA victories in program history.
