Men's Lacrosse Breaks Records in Win Over Centenary

IRVING, Texas - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team defeated Centenary College (La.) 27-11 on Tuesday.

Kalamazoo broke school records for goals (27) and assists (15) in the win.

Kalamazoo scored first just 49 seconds into the contest and led 9-0 after the first quarter. Kalamazoo led 14-0 at halftime.

Jack Loveland led the Hornets with four goals and two assists. Sam Hoag also scored four goals.

Vincent Tran scored three goals with two assists. Mike Hume scored three goals with an assist. 

Vincent Tremonti added two goals with two assists, while Mitchel VanGalder scored two goals with one assist. Logan Gillis scored once with a team-high three assists.

Sam Hughes and JJ Ohren-Hoeft led the Hornets with seven ground balls apiece.

Kalamazoo outshot Centenary 49-36, including 38-18 on goal.

Dylan Wickey and Kiah Holdsworth combined for seven saves in goal.
