Men's Lacrosse Defeated by Trine

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team lost its season finale 11-6 at home to Trine Saturday evening.

Kalamazoo scored the first goal but trailed 2-1 at the end of the first quarter. Trine led 5-2 at halftime.

The Hornets were still within four (9-5) with 5:22 left in the fourth, but a quick goal by Trine and another two minutes later put the game out of reach.

Trine outshot Kalamazoo 46-37, including 20-14 on goal.

Jack Loveland led the Hornets with two goals and two assists. He also had five ground balls and two caused turnovers. 

Eli Routt also had five ground balls in the game.

Kiah Holdsworth was credited with nine saves in goal.
