Robert “Ace” Mallonee has been selected as the assistant men’s lacrosse coach for the 2015-2016 season. He also served as the interim women's head coach during the fall of 2015 and will assist the team during the 2016 season.
Malonee has coached high school lacrosse on both sides of the Atlantic for eight years.
Most recently Mallonee was an assistant coach at The Park School, which plays in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association “B” conference. During his two years at The Park School, Mallonee served as an offensive and defensive coordinator.
Mallonee also served as head coach overseas for Stowe’s U18 B team in Stowe, England. In 2008-2009 Mallonee led the Sandy Spring varsity team as head coach in Sandy Spring, Maryland.
Mallonee played Lacrosse at Guilford College in North Carolina 2001-2004 and was a four year starter and two-time captain. He graduated from Guilford in 2004 with a degree in sports management.
Mallonee comes from a long line of lacrosse players and coaches and as the Director of Operations for Aloha tournaments 2010-2013 has helped run lacrosse tournaments all over the United States.
