The Kalamazoo men's soccer team defeated Alma 1-0 on the road Tuesday night.  The men are now 4-4-2 overall this season, and 2-2-1 in conference play.

The Hornets created a lot of of opportunities for themselves offensively, leading the Scots in shots 24-14. Joshua Robison and Noah Bushaw were particularly aggressive on the offensive side of the ball for Kalamazoo, as the two combined for twelve shots.

One of Robison's shots wound up getting by the Alma goal keeper and he scored the game's only goal in the 56th minute off an assist from Werner Roennecke.

Hornet goal keeper Beau Prey racked up his fourth shutout victory of the season, and recorded four saves in the match.

Kalamazoo will look to get its record above .500 Saturday, Oct. 4 when it takes on conference opponent Trine at home.
