Men's Soccer wins 2-1 in overtime at Olivet

OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team won 2-1 in overtime at Olivet College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play on Tuesday.

After a scoreless first half Olivet scored the game's first goal just 23 seconds into the second half. Noah Bushaw tied the game with a goal nine minutes later (53:14).

The game remained tied through regulation before Benjamin Kileen scored the game-winning goal for the Hornets in the fourth minute of overtime.

Olivet outshot Kalamazoo 19-14 overall and 12-11 in shots on goal.

Beau Prey made 11 saves in goal for the Hornets.

With Kalamazoo's win and Hope College's overtime loss at Albion today, the Hornets moved into second place in the MIAA with three games remaining. Kalamazoo hosts Alma next on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m.
