The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team didn't have a difficult time finding the back of the net Tuesday evening as they defeated the visiting Adrian College Bulldogs 7-0 at MacKenzie Field.

Cal Kirchen recorded a hat trick to lead the rout of the Bulldogs, moving his season goal total to seven. He also recorded two assists in the match.

Joshua Robison began the scoring frenzy in the 14th minute for K as he settled a bouncing ball inside the penalty area and slotted it into the bottom right corner.

Kirchen added his first two goals of the game in the 17th and 29th minutes. Brenden Groggel and Robison recorded an assist on each goal respectively.

K added two more goals before halftime as Thomas Bryant tallied two goals ten minutes apart from each other in the 31st and 41st minutes.

After Kirchen notched his hat trick in the 61st minute, Collin Sweet ended the scoring with his first goal of the season in the 78th minute.

With the win, K improves to 5-2 in the MIAA and will host Olivet on Saturday, Oct. 10 at noon.
