Men's Soccer falls at Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team fell to Calvin College on the road Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 4-0.

With the game remaining in the balance for the first 25 minutes of play, Calvin scored three goals in a span of 11 minutes in the latter part of the first half making a second half comeback a tall task for the Hornets.

With time winding down in the second half Knights added their final goal in the 87th minute courtesy of Lucas Albrecht.

Cal Kirchen led the Hornets with two total shots, but the Hornets were limited to just two shots on frame. Calvin outshot Kalamazoo 15-6 in total.

The Hornets will look to rebound this Saturday, Sept. 24 when they travel to Trine University for a 2:30 p.m. start.
