Men's Soccer defeated at Ohio Northern

ADA, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team lost its opening game of the weekend 3-1 at Ohio Northern University. The Hornets opened the scoring in the 52nd minute with Jacob Lopez Pink's first goal of the season, an unassisted strike from 20 yards out. 

Ohio Northern responded just one minute later to tie the score at 1-1 and then tacked on two more goals in the final 30 minutes to put the game away. Zachary Yoder led Ohio Northern with a goal and an assist and Griffin Hamel made five saves for K in a losing effort.

The Hornets return to the field tomorrow to take on Wilmington at 1 p.m.
