Men's Soccer draws with Wilmington

ADA, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team played Wilmington to a 2-2 draw in its second game of the weekend at Ohio Northern.

Thomas Bryant gave K an early lead with his first goal of the season in the 5th minute. Aidan Hurley doubled K's lead 15 minutes later off of an assist from Jacob Lopez Pink. Despite the strong start, the Hornets were unable to find the back of the net again and Wilmington's Niklas Martensson scored two goals in the second half to force overtime. Wilmington was forced to play down a man in the two overtime periods due to a red card, but K was unable to capitalize on the man advantage.

Griffin Hamel made 3 saves in goal for the Hornets who will kick off their conference schedule on Wednesday at Hope at 6:30 p.m.
