ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team played 110 scoreless minutes against Adrian on Wednesday night as the teams drew 0-0 after two overtimes.

In wet and windy conditions neither team was able to find a breakthrough in the what was statistically a very even match. The Hornets finished with a slight advantage in shots taken, 17-16, while Adrian took six corner kicks to Kalamazoo's five. The physicality of the match reflected how close the game was as 42 total fouls were called and each team received multiple yellow cards.

Kalamazoo was not without chances as a header from Thomas Bryant near the end of regulation forced a save by Spencer Brown in the Adrian goal to send the game into overtime. A free kick in a promising position for K in the second overtime period was blocked by the Adrian wall, taking the game to its scoreless conclusion.

Griffin Hamel made four saves in goal to record the shutout for Kalamazoo.

With the tie, the Hornets currently sit in fourth place in the MIAA standings. They will look to improve on that position when they travel to Alma on Saturday for a 12 p.m. kickoff.
