Men's Soccer defeated by Albion

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by Albion on Senior Night Wednesday evening.

Christian Hurtado opened the scoring for Albion in the 33rd minute with a half volley from 20 yards out and Erik Vanfossen doubled the lead for the Britons in the 71st minute with a long range effort.

Ryan Melgar led the Hornets three shots in the game, one of which was on goal.

Griffin Hamel made three saves before leaving the game with an injury in the first half. Brad Carlson finished the game in goal and made one save for K. 

Kalamazoo will wrap up the season on the road Saturday at Olivet at 12 p.m. as the first half of a doubleheader also featuring the K women's team.
