Men's Soccer Falls to Michigan-Dearborn

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team was defeated by the University of Michigan-Dearborn Tuesday night by a score of 2-1. 

The Wolverines got off to an early lead in the 18th minute when a ball by a Kalamazoo defender slipped by for an own goal. 

Kalamazoo tied the game in the 64th minute with freshman Alex Wallace's first career goal. Sophomore Ben Meschke assisted on the play. 

The game remained tied for 22 minutes before Michigan-Dearborn connected on the game-winning goal off the foot of Chad Schmerheim. 

Kalamazoo (2-5) will travel to Elmhurst on Saturday, Sept. 22 for a match that is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
